As for me, I am quite restless for the whole week and possibly thing gonna be the same next week. Sigh.

I got upcoming three presentations (Linguistic, philosophy and Literature) and two tests (Counseling and Literature) next week which will begin exactly two days from now.
Sigh.

Anyway, lets take a deep breath and keep calm. Every students experienced this right? So am I. I decided to embrace the moment and do my best. InshaAllah.

Back to the real topic, have you guys watching Stranger Things before? If you haven't heard about it before,  Stranger Things is an American science fiction-horror web television consist of 8 episodes on Netflix. I am such a huge fan of this series! Which the main reason I was so happy yesterday that Stranger Things finally on air for Season 2 after a year!!

But of course, I haven't got time to watch it real time as I have meeting and stuff to do, so please no spoiler brat here, there and everywhere pleaseeee.
After I'm done with my assignments (yeah when lol), I'm gonna dig in this new season of Stranger Things and have the best time of my life!!

May my presentations went well,
May my interview went good,
May my tests went amazing,
May Stranger Things Season 2 will be whole lot better than the 1st one if not the same,
Pray for this girl guys,

Assalamualaikum,

Have you guys heard about 'Six Word Stories'? To be honest, I stumbled this kind of very short stories many times, I just never realized that it's actually a 'thing'. This type of short stories was basically inspired by Ernest  Hemmingway's, a huge talent in American Literature, according to one of my lecturer. It quite interesting really, to explain deep insight stories in a very short length. It has served as a prompt for decades, testing writers' ability to create their own succinct masterpieces with all sorts of clever results One thing for sure, it's certainly not easy.

Let me share you among many SWS I found here and there.
Read, and weep.
Just kidding.

Read, and interpret.

1. The smallest coffins are the heaviest.

2. I met my soulmate. She didn't.

3. Goodbye mission control. Thanks for trying

4. Mom taught me how to shave

5. I just saw my reflection blink

So, how's your interpretation sessions for those SWS above going on? Don't worry, you might be right, you might be wrong, and you might be both. When Miss Jo, my lecturer's for English For Critical Academic Reading hands out to us this topic, the class was in chaotic! 😂

And for dessert, here's my version of SWS,

" She got no hair but hope"

If you write any lines of SWS (forgot to mention earlier that SWS stand for Six Word Stories), and would like to share them with me, I would love to read it. Okay, see you later. Goodbye.

Assalamualaikum,

Mid term break just begun few days ago so here I am writing from home, man this feels great.
So, how's degree life been treating me so far? Here let me break it down for ya.

1. As the oldest in my class, I kind of having hard times to really like relate with those kids in my class. They are majority 19-21 years old, while me, the mak cik one is 23 years old lol. Of course, blame me for not studying much earlier. I mean, I like my classmates, they all lovely people for sure. However, their energy, spirit, enthusiasm and anything equivalence.....Too much for me to handle sometimes 😂  Not that I'm complain, I'm just saying that it's definitely gonna take time for me to adjust myself among those youngsters because honestly I feel very old and.....old when I am with them. SOS

2. TESL is on another level compared to when I studying MASSCOMM in my diploma years eventhough both courses I took were under the same university. Major reason - TESL is under Faculty of Education which very strict with their rule and regulation. For example, lectures here in this faculty are so aware of punctuality and presence of their students. Meanwhile, in my diploma years, they be like, " You come or not to class, it's your problem. I don't care." Feels like I'm back to school here lol. Well, as the pride of student under the Faculty of Education, you have to be the very best version of yourself before you dare to teach people in any institutes one day, isn't?

3. So far, I'm really fall in love with this place. The vibe, the challenge, the people, the library, the food. I love and cherish them all. I am so excited to get through this semester with flying colours and strive harder for the incoming next level, InshaAllah.

P/s : My eye sight is getting worser day by day, when I do the checkup, I've been told that I need to ear glasses asap or else I will not able to concentrate in class no more. Gosh, I hate wearing that thing on my face. I guess that's another challenge for me to survive here in my late bloomer degree life.

I want to write a bit longer than this, I actually planned the draft and stuffs but since I am at home right now, well, you know aite. Hihi. Anyhow, I'm gonna write the continuation from this entry probably at the end of the semester, so

Adios, see you later!

Assalamualaikum,

It's been a month since I studying here at UiTM Puncak Alam. So, here's my tiny rant about everything I pent up all this while about this place which widely known as Palam to you guys.

As a full-time student staying here in college that provided by authorities that cost me RM420 a semester, I've been told that I am prohibited to bring my car here, sigh. Luckily, my college and faculty is not that far. There's a lot of bus here and there from 7.30 a.m until 10 .30 p.m. However, I am more 'walk' kinda person, so I usually walk to get through my destination within Palam. However let me remind you, this campus is sooooo huge. There are few places that I can't possibly walk and have to ride bus to go there. For that particular time, damn I miss my car.

Compared to my diploma years, college facilities here is definitely better. I stay at Rafflesia college here, one of the oldest I heard. I expected little but man, I am grateful to be given the opportunity to stay here. My house is good, bathroom also good, well there's few problems but as soon as we filed a complaint, less than three days, it's fixed! Cafe, atm, express post, and so on important spots for students are all good and nice. Alhamdulillah.

Have you guys heard about PTAR? It's a short form for Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak. As a library lover, I am quite satisfied with this library. PTAR is very huge, cold, reliable as it available from am to pm almost everyday. The staffs here not just in PTAR, but UK (Unit Kesihatan), HEP, HEA, etc, mostly very helpful and nice.

There's also a lot of clubs to join if you love to associate with people from sports to agro, you can just pick and schedule your time for them according to your interest. Not to mention, at least a week, there's carnival provided from many faculties and programs to students either at Padang Kawad or dewans, take good care of your money people. If you are too lazy to come down (like me), you can order foods from many sources that also provide cash on delivery services in front your house/block, everyday!

The only bummers I resent here is the fact that Palam is too secluded from the outer world if you know what I mean. So, it takes a hard work to travel outside, even the closest mall here are only Tesco, Giant, and Setia City Mall, but hey, it's better than none right. I feel grateful nevertheless.
The closest bus terminal here is Klang Central, which about 30 minutes from here. You can buy tickets here at the student shops easily if you're not good at buying bus tickets online. It's all about effort and opportunities here. Again a friendly reminder, wifi services here is very lacking, sometimes it's behave but sometimes, well. But, I've experienced worse during my diploma year so, it's bearable at least for me.

Even the faculty here is easier to reach compared to the one in Lendu, Melaka back then when I was doing my diploma. All my classes held at different classes, but on the same floor in one building. All lectures that teach me in this semester are so nice and polite. I feel much more at ease and inspired after every lesson.

So, that's a bit too much for a someone that only be here for a month to rant about isn't? Oops, sorry. It's been a while since the last time I sincerely writing my experience here, so bare with me and congratulation for make it to the end hehe. This thursday I will come back home for about a week for mid term break. As old as I am, I still missed my babies at home soooo much. Aren't we all are? Family is everything right.

See you guys again later one sweet day.
Love, thezofiroh

Assalamualaikum,

Basah jugak la tudung nangis tadi, tisu lupa bawak huhu. Aku ni memang mudah menangis orangnya. Acah ja lebih.

Jadi, korang yang belum tengok lagi Bisik Pada Langit, pergi tengok na. Kalau boleh bawa la mak ayah korang tengok sekali, kompem banjir nanti. Haha. Mari sokong filem tempatan. Aku janji korang takkan kecewa tengok filem ini :)
